CLASSICAL BALLET CLASSES
Classical ballet classes for both boys and girls to learn how to dance ballet.
For children, learning ballet offers, self-confidence, correct stance, flexibility. We encourage musicality and strengthening without hindering a child’s natural growth and development.
AGE GROUPS
Children from 5 years and above. Younger children can try our “little butterflies class”. Adult classes are also available for beginners and advanced.
EQUIPMENT / DRESS CODE
No special equipment required.
Children are required to wear leotards, skin-coloured tights and ballet flats. Pointe shoes are required for older students and only when advised by the teacher. Hair to be in a bun and off the face so as not to distract the pupils during class. No jewellery to be worn during lessons. Please contact the dance school directly for correct colours and full details.
ABOUT
The classical ballet classes are taught from the I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) syllabus. The I.S.T.D. is a British dance system recognized worldwide.
INDIVIDUALS / GROUPS
The ballet classes are group classes. If you are interested in private ballet lessons please contact us.
CLASSICAL LESSON PRICES
There is a registration fee of 10 euros for all new students. Prices for classes depend on whether it is a group or individual class and the dance style, please contact us for details. Special prices apply to families with more than one member attending classes at the dance school and individuals attending more than one dance class style. TEACHER
Yvette trained at Elmhurst Ballet School in England and has been a registered I.S.T.D. dance teacher since 1997. She has worked professionally as a dancer and taught dance for many years in both England and Greece.
